How Pinneds uses Meta's models
Four Meta models turn friends' photos into one new picture that credits everyone in it. Here is one real example, from photo to scene.
Follow one example
Every picture in this example was made with Meta models: Muse Image made the friends' photos, and Pinneds did the rest.

Muse Spark names what's in it
Ben adds a photo of a shelf. Muse Spark gives each thing a short name that SAM 3.1 can use. It also checks for faces: a face only adds a short consent note, never a block.
The five models
Four work inside the app while you use it. The fifth helped build it.
Muse Spark
In the appNames the things in your photo, names a piece you tap, and suggests scene ideas in your language.
- Sees
- A copy of your photo without its hidden details, a piece you tapped, or the names of the picked pins.
- Never sees
- The photo you uploaded, its hidden details such as location, or anyone's name.
SAM 3.1
In the appCuts out each named thing, and anything you tap, as a sticker.
- Sees
- The same copy of your photo, with a name or the spot you tapped.
- Never sees
- The photo you uploaded or its hidden details.
Muse Image
In the appComposes a new scene from the picked cut-outs and the idea, and remixes scenes.
- Sees
- The picked cut-outs, their names, the names of the people who pinned them (for the credit) and the idea. For a remix, also the scene being remixed.
- Never sees
- Your original photos or the board link.
Muse Voice Transcribe
In the appWrites down an idea you say out loud.
- Sees
- Your voice clip, kept in memory only for the call.
- Never sees
- A saved copy: Pinneds never stores the audio.
Muse Spark Open
Build timeTranslated this site into 6 more languages, then checked them in a second pass.
- Sees
- The site's English text, at build time.
- Never sees
- Anything you add: the app never calls it.
The photo you upload is never stored. Pinneds works from a temporary copy without hidden details such as location; what stays are the cut-outs and scenes.
Every call to Meta runs in Standard mode: your data is not used for training, which is not the same as not stored. We don't claim zero data retention.
For scenes, Pinneds also asks Meta not to store the request (store: false).
Built with Meta tools
Muse Spark Open translated this site into its 6 other languages at build time. The app itself was built with Meta's Muse Code coding agent, and its overnight core ran on Muse Wonder Full.
